補体関連障害の予防および処置のためのＣＲＩｇポリペプチド

【課題】最近発見されたマクロファージ特異的受容体ＣＲＩｇ、ならびに、例えば、加齢性黄斑変性（ＡＭＤ）および慢性脈絡膜新生血管（ＣＮＶ）などの補体が関係している眼の症状を含む、補体が関係している障害の予防および処置におけるその使用を提供すること。
【解決手段】１つの態様においては、本発明は、補体が関係している眼疾患の予防または処置のための方法に関する。これには、その必要がある被験体に、予防有効量または治療有効量の補体阻害因子（例えば、代替補体経路の阻害因子（例えば、ＣＲＩｇポリペプチドまたはそのアゴニスト））を投与する工程が含まれる。
