【課題】粒子（例えば、細胞、ウイルス、オルガネラ、ビーズおよび／または小胞）の微小流体操作および／または分析のための新規な方法を提供する。
【解決手段】
本発明は、細胞および／またはビーズの様な粒子の、微小流体操作および／または検出のための装置、方法およびキットを備える。本発明は、細胞、ウイルス、オルガネラ、ビーズ、および／または小胞のような粒子の微小流体操作および／または分析のための装置、方法およびキットを備える。本発明はまた、これらの操作および分析を実行するための微小流体メカニズムを提供する。これらのメカニズムは、粒子のコントロールされたインプット、移動／配置、保持／局在化、処理、測定、放出、および／またはアウトプットを可能にし得る。さらに、これらのメカニズムは、システム中で任意の適切な順序で組み合わされ得、任意の適切な回数利用され得る。
