ＤＨＳのアンチセンスポリヌクレオチド又はｅＩＦ−ＳＡのセンスポリヌクレオチドのいずれかを取込むベクターを用いて植物内の種子の収量を増大させる方法。

【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項１】
ＤＨＳのアンチセンスポリヌクレオチド及び前記アンチセンスポリヌクレオチドの転写を提供するべくアンチセンスポリヌクレオチドに対し作動的に連結された調節配列を含むベクターを、植物の少なくとも１つの細胞のゲノム内に取込む段階を含み、かくして前記アンチセンスポリヌクレオチドの前記転写が該植物内の内因性ＤＨＳの発現を減少させ、かくして種子の収量を増大させる、植物内の種子の収量を増大させる方法。
【請求項２】
成長ｅＩＦ−５Ａのセンスポリヌクレオチド及び前記センスポリヌクレオチドの転写を提供するべくセンスポリヌクレオチドに対し作動的に連結された調節配列を含むベクターを、植物の少なくとも１つの細胞のゲノム内に取込む段階を含み、かくして前記センスポリヌクレオチドの前記転写が該植物内の成長ｅＩＦ−５Ａの発現を増加させ、かくして種子の収量を増大させる、植物内の種子の収量を増大させる方法。
