血液製剤からソラレンを除去するための方法およびデバイス

【課題】血液製剤から、ソラレンおよびソラレン光産物を除去するための方法およびデバイスを提供すること。
【解決手段】本発明の方法は、ソラレン処理および放射線処理した血液製剤をソラレンおよびソラレン光産物を吸収し得る樹脂に接触させる工程を含む。この除去プロセスは、特に、濃縮血小板および血漿に用いるのに特に適している。なぜならば、このプロセスは、凝血因子の機能に、悪影響を及ぼさないからである。この方法およびデバイスは、アフェレーシスシステム、および現在輸血の為の血液製剤の処理に用いられている他のデバイスおよび手法に組み込まれ得る。
