遺伝子破壊、それに関連する組成物および方法

【課題】遺伝子機能の特徴づけに関するトランスジェニック動物ならびに組成物および方法を提供する。
【解決手段】本発明により、種々の遺伝子の破壊が含まれているトランスジェニックマウスが提供される。このようなインビボにおける研究および特徴づけは、遺伝子破壊に関連する疾患または機能障害（例えば、神経障害；心臓血管、内皮もしくは血管形成の障害；眼の異常；免疫障害；腫瘍学的障害；骨の代謝の異常もしくは障害；脂質代謝障害；または発達異常）の予防、寛解または矯正に有用な治療薬および／または処置法の価値ある同定および発見を提供し得る。
